Acrylamide

Acrylamide is an organic chemical that is added to water during waste water and sewage treatment. It can also be found in food, in cigarette smoke and as an industrial chemical for several uses. Acrylamide can cause skin irritation such as redness and peeling of the skin of palms and neuropathy affecting the central nervous system and the peripheral nervous system.
