Endothall is a herbicide and algaecide used to control growth of terrestrial and aquatic weeds, that can be introduced to the water supply due to runoff from herbicide use that has contaminated the soil. Its consumption through long periods of time or contact with endothall-containing swimming pools has been linked to stomach and intestinal problems.
