Dibromo3chloropropane (DBCP)

A pungent-smelling yellow liquid most commonly used for soil fumigation (commercially known as Nemagon or Fumazone). It can be the source of contamination in drinking water through the runoff or leaching from the fumigants used on soybean, cotton and pineapple crops as well as some orchards. After long periods of exposure, it has been linked to reproductive difficulties, including fertility issues and testicular dystrophy, kidney damage, as well as an increased risk of cancer.
