Dioxin (2,3,7,8TCDD)

Dioxins are highly toxic by-products of industrial processes and can be very dangerous because even in low doses it can accumulate through time in the body. It generally filtrates into drinking water supplies due to trash incineration and manufacturing processes, especially for herbicides. Especially given in large quantities or at important stages of development, dioxins can affect normal growth and function of almost every system in the body. Various studies have proven dioxin consumption can result in reproductive and developmental problems, damage the immune system, interfere with hormones and also cause cancer.
